Refund policy
All sales are final
A paid Boost, Rush, or Spotlight is a place in line. It is not a ticket, not a booking, and not a promise that the track will play. Refunds are not part of the product.

The rule
Every paid spot is final at the moment the charge succeeds and the track lands on the board. We do not reverse, credit, or cash back that purchase because:
- the session ended or dropped before your track played;
- the creator skipped, passed, or rejected the track;
- you changed your mind, typed the wrong link, or picked the wrong room;
- you did not like how it sounded or the stream;
- the room was quieter than you hoped;
- payout to the creator has not arrived yet.
Creators keep 95% of the listed price. Queue Drops keeps a 5% platform fee. Once that split is recorded, it is not unwound because someone changed their mind. If the creator saves the queue to finish later, your place stays. That is not a refund.
The few exceptions
Very few cases may qualify, and only if you contact support promptly. We may consider:
- a duplicate charge for the same spot (billed twice by mistake);
- a processor error where you were charged and the track never entered the queue because of a failure on our side;
- a charge that went through after the room was already closed, if our systems failed to stop it.
Those are the exceptions. "The creator didn't play my song" is not one of them. If we approve an exception, we decide whether to refund through the original processor or to credit another way. Processing can take several business days. Chargebacks filed without talking to us first may result in a closed account.
How to ask
Use the support form. Pick the refund topic. Include the room URL, the track title, the time of the charge, and the last four of the card or the PayPal email if you have them. We cannot look up a payment from a first name alone.
Why we do it this way
A live queue only works if a paid place in line stays paid. If spots could be taken back after the fact, creators could not trust the board and fans who paid would lose their place. The 5% we keep is the whole platform fee. There is no extra charge hiding at checkout. We would rather stay cheap and clear than raise the cut and hide the rules.
